(AP) — Grace Zumwinkle scored the first hat trick in the Professional Women’s Hockey League and Maddie Rooney earned the shutout as Minnesota won its home opener, blanking Montreal 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in front of of a record crowd of 13, 316 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.The previous record, 8,318 was set Tuesday at the sold-out Montreal’s Arena at TD Place to watch it beat Ottawa 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday. Minnesota won at Boston by the same score Wednesday.Zumwinkle, who scored a goal in the season opener in Boston, is from Excelsior, Minn. and played her collegiate hockey at the University of Minnesota. DENVER (KDVR) -- A shelter-in-place alert was issued for an area in Northglenn Saturday afternoon.The Northglenn Police Department said officers responded to a shots fired call around 3:36 p.m. in the 12200 block of Claude Court.Police said no suspect or victim was found when they arrived on the scene, so they set up a perimeter and initiated a search. That's when a shelter-in-place alert was issued.NPD said Thornton and Adams County K9 officers assisted with the search.A person was located just after 5 p.m. in the construction area of Karl's Farm and was taken into custody.
